ABOUT KIMBERLY
Hello! As obvious as my blog name, I am Kimberly but you can just call me, Kimmy.
I am a 20-something engineer and hobbit from the Philippines. Yes, I sometimes call myself a hobbit or short girlie because I’m only 4 feet and 11 inches! 😂 I’m not offended by it anymore because I accepted it long ago. My friends have been so nice to me (note the sarcasm) to actually tease me about my height every single day of my college life.
On a technical perspective, I finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. But under unexpected circumstances, I am currently working in mechanical engineering field. In spite of the fact that I’m in the technical field, reading and reviewing about books is what I am most passionate about. I am open in reading any genre as long as it captures my interest but I do have my top picks genre as of the moment. Check my review policy here. For my rating system, check here.
Other than reading, I also do ‘fangirling’ about K-pop, K-drama, K-variety shows and anime. I am not an ‘otaku’ but I enjoy watching anime and reading some manga. This is certainly the reason why I want to learn Korean and Japanese language in the future. I don’t want to depend on subtitles for the rest of my life! Haha 😂😂 (Update: I already passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test – N5 level last December 2022)
Moreover, I’m a photography enthusiast and I also do crocheting, bullet journaling, lettering, and drawing.
