There are a LOT of books I want to re-read this year but these are my Top 5! Hopefully, I’ll succeed before 2019 ends. So without further adieu, here it goes!

BORDER

1. Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi

I want to re-read these books because a lot of the blogs I follow don’t like these books. I am just curious about why they don’t like Shatter Me series when I love every bit of it. So, I want to give it a second read to see for myself why (not sure if I will really see it lol). Another reason why I want to reread these, I want to refresh my mind about the overall plot because I am planning to purchase Restore Me and Defy Me on the third quarter of the year. I am also thinking of re-reading some novellas like Destroy Me and Fracture Me but it depends.

2. Falling into Place by Amy Zhang

Despite all the heavy emotions I’ve felt while reading this book, I still want to read it again. I have this assumption that this book might help me (no matter how small or big it is) in lifting some of the emotional weights I’ve been feeling lately.

3. The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli

Back then, this book wasn’t my ‘cup of tea’ but I still gave it a 4-star rating because I enjoyed it so much and it was definitely worth the time! Right now, the only reason I want to reread this book is because of Molly. I love her character and I can relate to her at some points throughout this book.

4. Made You Up by Francesca Zappia

I want to read this book again and think about it critically. At first, I rated this book with 5 stars because I was so surprised at the revelations. But after I read negative reviews about the wrong representation of schizophrenia, I changed it into 3 stars. Now, I need to give this book a second read and discuss it with my sister who is a 4th-year psychology student. Aside from that, I enjoyed reading this book and I really want to be enlightened about this type of mental health.

5. Red Queen Series by Victoria Aveyard

Just like the Shatter Me series, I want read it again because I am planning to buy War Storm. Despite all the negative reviews I’ve read about it, I still want to give it a try. I am still curious as to what will happen with all the characters I rooted for.
