Queen of Chaos is the third and last installment to Kat Ross’ enthralling The Fourth Element Series. It started from Tijah’s point of view in which she was still with the freed daeva children. As Tijah and the daeva children encountered challenges in their journey to Gorgon-e Gaz, Nazafareen’s group also encountered challenges in the Dominion that led them all into an unexpected situation. At least, for me.
There was a lot of point of view which I think are necessary for unfolding the different sides of the story and Kat Ross exemplified it all nicely. It’s annoying for me whenever I read a book that contains a lot of point of view from different characters, but this book never failed me. In fact, I enjoyed every point of view in here. Reading it is like riding a roller coaster for me! Some parts made me giggle, cry, and I was literally on the edge while reading this. The last few chapters almost broke my heart, but I am happy in the way it ended. It made me realized that no matter what happens, true and genuine love will always win.
Moreover, the only problem I’ve had in this book is the phase. It is kind of slow for me.
Lastly, Kat Ross delivered a significant and amazing conclusion in the Queen of Chaos. I am sure that The Fourth Element series is one of the most unforgettable series of my lifetime! I am not yet ready to say goodbye but it’s good to know that their story won’t end here. I love the series so much! Thank you, Kat Ross, for bringing them into the bookish world!

“I’m so afraid of hurting people I care for. It’s like there are two of me, the protector and the destroyer. And it’s getting harder to tell them apart.”
“She’d aspired to be a great beauty once. The sort of woman who made men stammer and stare. Now she just want to scare the shit out of them.”
“Don’t let your grief make you do something stupid, girl. We’ve all lost people we love. Throwing your own life away won’t bring her back.”
“The gloaming played hide-and-seek like a mischievous child, and the place where you left something today might not be where you find it tomorrow.”
“An old friend of mine used to say our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising again each time we do.”
“What is life — or death — without a little mystery? I will discover the answer to that question when I get there.”
“I’m free to be anyone. To go anywhere. I am a pilgrim…. And perhaps there’s magic in that as well.”
