You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
How I wish I had that many books but it would certainly make our house a city library.
First, if I had those 20,000 books on my TBR, I will categorize each book per genre. Second, I will sort each book alphabetically using the author’s name. Third, after doing all these things, I will just pick a book from the genre which will suit my mood. I might start from the Young Adult genre because that is my favorite genre as of now. Lastly, I will hire some people to help me do all of these categorizing and sorting!
You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
I am still committed even though I am not enjoying it. I never quit in reading a book whether I enjoy it or not because I made a vow to myself (ages ago) that I should never quit reading a book. Although most of the time, it would take me a long time to finish it.
Whenever I encounter such books, I always keep this mindset to always find some positive side from it even though in the end, I would probably enjoy 1%-5% of the content. At least.
The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?
Sometimes I try to catch up by reading some books with only 190-250 pages but still, it’s not enough to complete my reading challenge. Hopefully, this year I can finish it once I passed my board exam.
The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?
I might sell the book for a lower price and just buy my preferred cover/edition.
As of now, it doesn’t happen to me yet. I always make sure that the covers/editions of the series that I want are all available.
Everyone and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
None as of now but I will surely post it here. I might find some friends here whom I can bond with over shared feelings about a book! 😊
You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
I DON’T CARE IF PEOPLE WILL SEE ME CRYING WHILE READING A BOOK.
I even laughed in a public transportation before while reading a book and they looked at me with a “is she crazy?” look. Call me anything, I really don’t mind and care as long as I am enjoying the book! 😂
A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!?

You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
“Sorry but I don’t let anyone borrow my books because for me those books are sooooo precious like gold. So if I let you borrow it and you gave it back to me in a bad condition (with all the folds and such… it freaks me out!), FRIENDSHIP OVER.”
You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?
Sometimes, I will browse some books in Goodreads and spend like 2 hours just to find and read reviews that will spark my interest again.
There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
There were times when I would buy the whole series in one go but there were also times when I would just force myself to buy the series individually.
Sometimes, I will just patiently wait for preloved or secondhand books which are less expensive. So it really depends on my budget. Lol.
After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
I open it once I am on my way home. I will smell it first and feel the texture of the cover and pages. Is it just me or do you do it too?
Mostly, I can finish it in a day.
