Top 5 Tuesday is a Weekly Meme hosted by the one and only Shanah @ Bionic Bookworm Blog! If you want to join too, check her Top 5 Tuesday – June topics here!

I’m back in Top 5 Tuesday and I’m so excited for today’s topic!!! Debut novels have already been a topic of another weekly meme that I am participating too, but that was around March. In today’s meme, I have removed some books, re-arrange it (again), and add one book.

BORDER

1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling

Who wouldn’t love Harry Potter?

If it’s a topic about debut novels, Harry Potter is my first pick! I don’t need to think twice about it.

2. Divergent by Veronica Roth

13335037

One of the best debut novels I’ve ever read! The adaptation is good but the book is way better for me.

This is one of those novels that is really hard to forget.

3. Caraval by Stephanie Garber

27883214

Back when I did my first post about debut novels, Caraval was the last debut novel to complete the list. I was currently reading it by the time I posted the weekly meme.

After finishing it, I can say, I love Caraval. Welcome, welcome to Caraval!

4. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

4327066

One of my best purchase when I was in high school. Lol.

I found myself in Charlie’s situation sometimes and I was emotionally manipulated by this book, both positive and negative way.

5. Two Like Me and You by Chad Alan Gibbs

44132454

I recently reviewed this book and it totally lived up to my expectations. The writing and plot are really good that I often forget (while reading) that this is Gibbs’ debut novel.

This is also enjoyable and a “feel good” book.

That’s it for today’s interesting topic!

Have you read any of these books? I’d love to know your thoughts about it!

How about you? What are your Top 5 debut novels? 🙂
